The Red Card campaign seeks to reduce the coercive and exploitative behaviors that are driving the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Madagascar. Use of the red card empowers youth to talk to each other honestly about exploitative behavior.
DDC produced multiple media tools to promote this campaign, highlighted by four one-minute TV spots showing different ways girls can use the red card, such as resisting pressure to drink, a boyfriend's pressure to have sex, and an older man's advances after school.
